Louisiana FastStart™ seeks Contract Instructional Designers to
develop instructional materials for classroom- and/or
computer-based training programs. Working with the Louisiana
FastStart manager of corporate and strategic projects, contractors
are assigned to develop the training materials required to train
clients' workforces in business and manufacturing environments.
Work is contract based with flexible hours and the ability to work
from home. In-state overnight travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and
significant work experience in course development incorporating
current ISD and Adult Learning Methodologies for delivery in
business operations, such as headquarters, back office operations,
call centers, customer contact centers and/or manufacturing support
operations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a strong
customer service orientation, excellent grammar and spelling, and
attention to detail. Use of MS Office Suite is required. Technical
writing and processes documentation experience are a plus.
Preferred experience includes training needs analysis,
independent subject research and development of tiered training
modules, such as leadership skills, supervisory skills,
collaboration and team skills, customer contact skills,
interpersonal skills and organizational support skills.
